DESCRIPTION:Join artist Ray Allan Mahabir (Sunshine Arts) in the collaborative creation of a large-scale contemporary tapestry\, becoming part of the making of a living artwork. \nInspired by the Garden Museum’s exhibition Benton End: A Paradise of Pollen and Paint and the work of artist and horticulturalist Cedric Morris\, this project brings together painting\, textiles\, recycled materials\, embroidery\, and the visual language of Mas and carnival traditions. DESCRIPTION:Join artist Ray Allan Mahabir (Sunshine Arts) in the collaborative creation of a large-scale contemporary tapestry\, becoming part of the making of a living artwork. \nInspired by the Garden Museum’s exhibition Benton End: A Paradise of Pollen and Paint and the work of artist and horticulturalist Cedric Morris\, this project brings together painting\, textiles\, recycled materials\, embroidery\, and the visual language of Mas and carnival traditions.
