Neighbours Day at the Garden Museum
July 13 @ 11:00 - 16:00
Garden Museum’s annual Neighbours Day is back! Each year they open their doors to the local Lambeth community free of charge. So if you’re a Lambeth resident, come along for a day of free fun for all!
It’s a great opportunity to get to know the museum, whether you’ve been curious about the museum but never had the chance to visit, or you’re a regular visitor! The theme this year is Garden Party, inspired by the ongoing Cecil Beaton exhibition, entry to which is included free of charge for the day.
Address: Garden Museum, Lambeth Palace Road SE1 7LB
Activities include:
- Face painting for children
- Fruity Walks with Divya Hariramani (a guided tour of local fruit trees)
- Gardening activities
- Live music from Lambeth Wind Orchestra
- Strawberry DNA Extraction workshop with our Plant Science Educator
- A Tai Chi session in our Healing Garden
- Family movement and dancing with Julia Korning
- Flower arranging workshop
- Botanical bath salts workshop
- …and more!
