Brought to you by First 5 Lambeth’s Activities Carousel, in our first part of the series we will be inviting expectant mums and new mums to a creative sanctuary to unite and share experiences through mindful art.

We will have open, non-judgemental discussions in a safe and creative space. We will be creating some art to help reflect on our thoughts of pregnancy, parenting and everything else in-between (no art skills required). Mothers carry so much both physically and mentally and sometimes we don’t have anyone to talk to about it or unsure how to get the words out. These sessions give the chance for mums to connect with others who do understand and is facilitated by Kim: a mother and arts practitioner from Art4Space. Come as you are!

Includes FREE baby starter kit to take home and refreshments throughout the session.

EXPECTANT MUMS
Saturday 12th September 11am – 12.30pm
Whether you’re going to be a first time mum or already have children with another on the way, you’re welcome to join. To get the full benefits of the session, we kindly ask you to come along without your older children, due to the topics discussed in the session it would not be suitable for them. This would also give you the opportunity to take a break from the family environment and meet other mums.

NEW MUMS
Friday 18th September 11am – 12.30pm
Babies in arms are welcome. As a safety precaution, the space would not be suitable for older babies who can crawl or walk.
