Loughborough Farm supports wellbeing through gardening, community events, and workshops. We welcome people of all ages to our regular volunteer sessions here at the farm and over at Wyck Forest Garden. We believe in the importance of learning where our fruit and vegetables come from, and how to care for nature and the planet. Our volunteers learn, grow, and share the harvest together.
Recently, we came together to build a new plant room for the community, with people of all ages pitching in – whether through construction or by providing refreshments. Designed by talented students from London South Bank University, the space will serve primarily as a nursery for our seedlings, equipped with potting benches and compost troughs. It will be the perfect hub for planting, potting on, and propagation, as well as a welcoming spot for small group activities.
