Children Centers are places in Local area provided by the Council for young children aged 0-5. These spaces offer a wide range of activities, help and support for families. By attending you will get a great sense of community and we’re are very much open to the community at First5Lambeth. Parents who are bringing their families to Children Centers have the opportunity to make new friends with other parents and spend special bonding time with their children.You will find similar yearly timetables running during Holidays and Term times. Services are available day to day and activities are scheduled from morning to afternoons sessions.
Social Development in Early Childhood
One of the main benefits of attending Children Centers is the positive impact towards your child’s Social Development in Early Childhood and Emotional Well-Being. Children Center’s are usually integrated with local Primary Schools and Nurseries the Preschool stages before children begin to interact with others, forming relationships and understanding personal choices. Taking your child to a Children Center will provide them with many special skills such as; Building Confidence, Communication, Empathy, Concentration, Cooperation, Conflict Resolution, Helping Others and Problem Solving. They learn how to respect each other, share toys and take turns.

- Visit the Children Center and Re-register your interest in person.
